Good Will Hunting

I was watching this film the other night, and it really echoed – a very clever boy who had spent his childhood in children’s homes. ‘Susan’s Brother’ was one of these. Not an orphan, but unwanted, unloved and dyslexic. Certainly not as good looking as Matt Damon. Slow at school. Then he attempted suicide at 9 years of age and ended up in an adult mental ward. Scandalous.

He went on to become a professional electronic engineer, designing the production prototype of Electronic Mastermind. A true story – I’ve just finished an extensive series of interviews with Susan’s Brother. Now I’m writing it. It really is uplifting. Available next April.
